Ridgefield Baptist Church offers Bible-based Sunday School for children, ages 3 through 5th grade, every Sunday at 10:00 am. The goal of our children’s curriculum is to introduce each child to a chronological, Christ-centered journey through Scripture. Each Sunday, children participate in Bible study, activities, and prayer.

Beginning in the fall, all children are invited to participate in rehearsals for the Christmas program that they perform during a worship service in December. The children learn to sing Christmas carols and understand the meaning of the Christmas story.

Preschool children gather for a Bible lesson, worship music, activities, and crafts. When a child arrives, parents are asked to sign-in their child and leave any special instructions with the teacher.

When Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade arrive on Sunday morning, they begin in the auditorium worshiping with their parents. Before the sermon, children are dismissed with a teacher to Sunday School where they participate in a Bible lesson, activities, and prayer. In a multi-age classroom, the children have the opportunity to engage in the lesson at their own level of understanding and benefit from the participation of other children. After the service, parents may pick up their child in the fellowship hall.

On the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of the month, the teens meet for a small group Bible study, games, and fellowship. We encourage our teens to serve in various ministries of the church once a month on Sunday mornings to encourage their growth in Christ and participation in the church family.
